If you can get targeted traffic (conversion or not) it is more helpful than general.
  • Many places sell traffic for a cost and in packaged deals. If you know the differentiation between aimed traffic and stray traffic, you would know that you require the former. And for that, you must know your audience. This will help you choose the right deal to buy your traffic. Buying traffic wholesale is of no use, especially without knowing your criteria.
  • It is essential that while you are diving in the waters of bought visitors, they come from the right place. If your small time business focuses on a particular area, it would be useful for you to buy traffic oriented in that area, instead of traffic from all around the globe. Demographic oriented traffic is useful.
  • Before you place an order for ad space, make sure to get a full research of what kind of advertisement formats they offer and which among them are useful. For example, some people prefer pop-up or pop-under while some prefer image or text ads. Use the ones that drive more audience or the ones your audience would more likely prefer like animations and character are more suited for children oriented ads.

  • Check if it is guaranteed traffic and the amount of time in which they promise to deliver. Lack of these factors will mean that traffic may or may not come for an indefinite amount of time. Also, check if you have any specifications and the guarantees they provide against those specific requirements like demographically oriented traffic.
  • The knowledge of how you get your traffic will help you decide if you want to buy traffic with a particular company or not. Because expired or redirected domains own to a poor quality of your website and poor service on the providers part. Even paid human services have higher chances of no conversion.
  • With the talk of conversion, it is important to know that buying traffic is no guarantee of conversion rate or any kind of sale. Buying targeted traffic will secure that but obviously, there are no assurances.
